Liveaboard vs land home cost breakdown?

Moved offshore for work and considering a liveaboard setup instead of renting. Initial costs look better, but I'm unsure about long-term expenses, maintenance, mooring, insurance, etc.

Anyone here done both? Looking for a straight comparison on yearly costs.

Are you more worried about fixed annual costs like mooring and insurance or variable expenses like maintenance, repairs and utilities and what size/type of boat and marina location are you considering so I can give a realistic yearly comparison?
