Boats vs RVs

Is boat life pricier than RV life? Curious how the costs stack up. Anyone here made the switch and can share their experience?

Boat life can burn through cash quicker cause slips, fuel, upkeep ain't cheap. RV life's more chill on the wallet. I switched over, and man, I do miss the low-key land life sometimes

agree! generally, boat life is pricier. maintenance in a marine environment is a constant, big expense, plus marina fees are usually higher than RV parks

Yeah, very much agree. But a few years ago, I moved from an RV to a boat. Probably it's just me but there's something about waking up on the water that makes those high fees and maintenance more worthwhile.
